Educators are advised to make a preparatory visit to the Gardens. This will allow you to be familiar with our location, layout, and facilities. Please note that all preparatory visits are self-led.

National Orchid Garden
Opening hours:
8.30 am - 7.00 pm daily (last ticket sales and entry at 6.00 pm)
An admission fee applies for entry into the National Orchid Garden. Please bring along a valid proof of identity to ensure that the correct ticket type is issued.

Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden
Opening hours:
8.00 am - 7.00 pm (last admission at 6.30 pm)
The Jacob Ballas Children's Garden is closed on Mondays, except when it falls on a designated public holiday.

Recce Trips to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden
For recce visits to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden (JBCG), please submit the Declaration Form at least 7 working days prior to the intended date of your recce.
Organise a Self-led Visit to the Gardens for your Students
Submit a permit application at least 2 weeks prior to your intended date of visit.
Our Visitor Services staff will be in touch with you upon successful submission of the form.
