Nature Immersion
Slow down, engage your senses, and discover a more intentional way of connecting with nature. Explore our guided walks and self-guided trail designed to help you notice the sights, sounds, textures and scents of the Gardens.
What is Nature Immersion?

Nature immersion is a way of experiencing nature that encourages us to slow down and engage our senses.
Through a series of invitations and prompts, participants are guided to notice the sights, sounds, textures and scents around them. Nature immersion invites us to pay attention to our experience of being in nature.
It offers a simple way to connect more intentionally with nature and the places around us.

Restorative Effects of Nature Immersion
Regular contact with nature has been associated with wellbeing benefits, including reduced stress, improved mood, and enhanced quality of life. Beyond time spent in nature, the depth of connection people feel with the natural environment also matters. Nature immersion supports this connection by encouraging visitors to slow down, engage their senses, and notice nature more intentionally.
