Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival
Join us from 5–13 September 2026 for nine days of music, art, and guided experiences celebrating the Gardens' rich history and living heritage.

The annual Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival is a nine-day series of public programmes that marks the Gardens’ UNESCO World Heritage status through curated tours, exhibitions, talks and cultural performances. The festival highlights the Gardens’ historic landscapes and institutional legacy, while examining how these continue to inform stewardship of the Gardens' today. Through educational programmes and hands-on activities, the festival supports public understanding of heritage as an evolving responsibility within a living botanical landscape.
In July 2025, the Singapore Botanic Gardens embarked on a year-long celebration, Celebrating Singapore Botanic Gardens, to commemorate several key milestones in its history and development like the 10th anniversary of the Gardens’ inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, marking a decade since its inscription on 4th July 2015.
These milestones were commemorated through a series of festivals, exhibitions, and community initiatives throughout the year, including the Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival, the Singapore Garden Festival Orchid Show, and EnlighTEN, the Gardens’ first-ever large-scale light show.
