Many ways to use our space, so long as you care for it.

Whether it's your daily workout group or a bigger get-together with friends, our space is here for everyone to enjoy. Just be thoughtful – it helps keep things great for all. For private gatherings, our premises such as Burkill Hall & Function Hall & Room have capacities ranging from 50 to 250 people. Find out more on reserving such properties below.

Simple pointers for a more conducive environment

  • Casual photography sessions (such as family portraits and graduations) do not require submission.

  • Please bring along your documents (hardcopy or softcopy via a tablet or mobile phone) as verification during random checks conducted by duty officers.

  • Please read our Rules & Regulations of the Gardens prior your application.

  • All submissions are required at least 14-days prior date-of-use.

Rules & Regulations

For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and the protection and conservation of our greenery, please observe the Parks and Trees Act (Cap. 216) and the Parks and Trees Regulations (Cap. 216, RG), in particular:

1. Please do not smoke in the Gardens

2. Please do not feed the wildlife (fishes/swans/turtles/birds/ducks etc)

3. Do not cycle, scooter, skate or skateboard

4. Do not set up tents or furniture, nor obstruct any path or visitor access

5. Do not play ball/racquet games, frisbees, fly model aircraft/drones and kites

6. Do not sell or attempt to sell any article or service or otherwise conduct business, unless prior approval has been obtained.

7. Shelters shall not be used exclusively for private events, gatherings or exercise.

No Pets Zone

We appreciate that your pets enjoy our garden.

We seek your cooperation that certain areas are out of bounds for pets as these are designated nature areas where extra protection is for the flora and fauna to thrive.
